At the February session, Deputy Head of the City Council Eugeniusz Kowalski asked when the renovation of the Jenny observation tower would begin. Mayor Piotr Roman replied that there had been a project involving municipalities from Poland and the Czech Republic, which was intended to renovate observation towers. Unfortunately, one of the municipalities—not Miasto Bolesławiec, the mayor stressed—failed to provide complete documentation and, consequently, the application did not receive a positive formal assessment. It will be submitted again.
