Police officers from the Criminal Department of Police Station I in Jelenia Góra detained a 39-year-old man suspected of thefts. Taking advantage of the staff's inattention at one of the shops in Jelenia Góra, the man stole 60 boxes of pralines on New Year's Eve. What's more, he committed another crime on Valentine's Day—in another shop, he stole four games. The victims' total losses amount to more than PLN 1,400.
The “holiday” thief was detained. The 39-year-old confessed to the crime. He now faces up to five years in prison.
