Both arrests took place on Sunday, 12 February. At 1:15 a.m., police officers from the Legnica traffic unit stopped a Renault driver, a 31-year-old resident of Jawor County, for a roadside check. The man was behaving very nervously, so the officers tested him with a drug test. It turned out that the 31-year-old was driving under the influence of drugs. His driving licence was confiscated, and he was taken to hospital, where blood was drawn for testing.

The second person arrested, a 31-year-old Volkswagen driver, was caught at around 5:50 p.m. During a conversation with the officers, the VW driver admitted that he had taken drugs shortly beforehand. The officers tested the driver with a drug test, which came back positive. This 31-year-old also had his driving licence confiscated and had blood drawn.

Both 31-year-olds now face up to two years in prison.
