A 15-year-old resident of Lubin suspected of breaking into a single-family home and stealing a passenger car has been apprehended by police. It turned out that the young resident of Lubin had escaped from the Youth Educational Centre in Wrocław the previous day. He broke in because he was hungry and had no warm clothes. What is more, the teenager noticed the keys in a Citroën parked in the garage and stole it.
A neighbour of the victims notified the officers about the burglary. Within just a few hours, police arrested the thief and recovered the stolen car. The young robber was taken to a police juvenile holding facility and then returned to the youth detention centre. He will answer for his actions before a family court.
