A Dull Welcome for American Soldiers in Bolesławiec

At 11:00 a.m., a symbolic welcome was held for the American soldiers stationed in Bolesławiec, on the square in front of Forum cinema. We welcome them as in the Gierek era: with boring speeches about nothing. Soldiers are fainting, while the speeches are practically inaudible because the sound system is so poor.

Two soldiers felt very unwell (an American and a Pole); the poor men were carried out of the ceremony.

From 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., there will be a military picnic in the Market Square. It is much more interesting there. Military equipment awaits you, along with performances, concerts and sports competitions. Visitors will be able to enjoy military pea soup.

The organizers of the picnic are the Commander of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment and the Mayor of Bolesławiec. We encourage you to follow the event via our cameras:
