The accident occurred after 6:00 p.m. at the 40th kilometer of the A4 motorway toward Wrocław. Two trucks and two passenger cars collided, one of them towing a trailer. The road toward Wrocław is blocked. An ambulance, police officers and firefighters were sent to the scene. Drivers traveling from the western border toward Wrocław should take the detour at the Godzieszów interchange via Bolesławiec.
Difficult conditions have prevailed on the roads since the afternoon. This is due to the weather: falling rain is freezing, creating black ice.
Drivers heading toward Gromadka should be careful. In some places, it is very slippery and traffic jams are forming.
