Tyczyńska Fabryka Urządzeń Wentylacyjnych Tywent is a Polish company established in 1973. It is headquartered in Podkarpacie. The company specializes in the production of fans and ventilation equipment for various technological processes.
Let us recall: in January last year, we reported that in its best years the company provided the Bolesławiec municipality’s budget with more than PLN 2 million in real estate tax revenue. It later fell into ruin. Some of the buildings were demolished.
At the beginning of the 21st century, Zakłady Chemiczne Wizów passed into private hands. Soon afterward, the company declared bankruptcy. The next owner did not fare particularly well either.
As early as the turn of 2015 and 2016, there was talk of investors interested in the plant (Chemia Wizów Sp. z o.o.). Whether they will manage to restore Wizów to its former glory remains to be seen.
