Police officers from the Bolesławiec traffic police, while driving along one of the streets of Nowogrodziec, noticed a woman lying in the road. It turned out that she was having an epileptic seizure. The officers moved her to a safe place and immediately began providing first aid. They also called an ambulance.

The incident occurred in the morning, after 6 a.m.; it was still dark and there was a severe frost. When the seizure had passed, the officers—until the ambulance arrived—took the 46-year-old resident of Nowogrodziec Municipality to their patrol car.
