Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department of Police Station I in Jelenia Góra arrested a 32-year-old man who is suspected of at least two failed burglaries. At the end of December last year, the 32-year-old attempted to break into one of the single-family homes, and in January he tried to rob one of the shops. He did not succeed either time, as he was scared off in both cases.
What is more, it turned out that the arrested man was wanted by the District Court in Jelenia Góra, as he had to serve a 2.5-year prison sentence for another crime. The 32-year-old has already been taken to pre-trial detention. He now faces an additional sentence of up to 10 years in prison.
