The accident occurred on Wednesday, 18 January, on 1000-lecia Avenue in Bolesławiec. The 45-year-old Bolesławiec resident driving a Ford was leaving the Tesco car park. Meanwhile, a 38-year-old resident of our city was leaving the Bricomarché car park and driving behind a lorry. The latter was turning towards Tesco. Not expecting a small vehicle to be travelling behind the lorry, the Ford driver failed to give way to the 38-year-old woman and hit the side of the Renault.
The woman’s car ended up against a tree. The Bolesławiec resident suffered a serious spinal injury and was taken to hospital. Both drivers were sober.
