On Tuesday, January 17, officers from Zgorzelec County arrested three drivers who had violated court-imposed bans on driving passenger cars. A 41-year-old resident of Zgorzelec, who was driving an Opel, was caught in Zgorzelec. Meanwhile, another resident of the city, a 37-year-old driving a Volkswagen, was arrested in Żarka. The third of them—a 22-year-old resident of Pieńsk who was traveling in an Audi—was arrested in his own city.

All three detainees could face up to three years in prison.
