After many years of service in the Jelenia Góra police garrison, three officers retired after a distinguished career. City Police Commander Inspector Zbigniew Markowski and his deputies thanked Inspector Maciejowi Dyjachowi, Inspector Tomaszowi Buzkowi and Staff Sergeant Krzysztofowi Brodowskiemu during a formal ceremony for their many years of hard and conscientious service.
All three worked in the police force for more than 30 years. Dyjach and Brodowski worked in the traffic division throughout that period. For the last dozen or so years, the former was head of the Traffic Division, while the latter was his deputy. Inspector Tomasz Buzek, meanwhile, served as deputy head of the Criminal Division for the last several years. (He worked in the criminal division for more than 30 years.)
