On Monday, January 16, officers from the Traffic Department of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Legnica stopped a Volkswagen driver for inspection. The man was behaving very nervously, so the officers decided to test him with a drug tester. As it turned out, the 31-year-old resident of Krotoszyce municipality was driving under the influence of drugs. The driver was taken to hospital, where blood was drawn from him for testing.
What is more, it came to light that the man was subject to a court-imposed driving ban. He may now face up to three years in prison.
