Officers from the Police Station in Rudna arrested a 20-year-old vandal who, on New Year's Eve in the Rudna municipality, smashed a pane in a bus shelter and damaged 11 road signs.
Police officers from the station in Rudna worked on the case. As a result of operational work and the information they gathered, they identified the perpetrator. The 20-year-old was arrested and has already been charged with property damage.
The officers determined that on New Year's Eve the man was celebrating in one of the villages in the Rudna municipality. Before midnight, he argued with his girlfriend, who broke up with him. He then set off home on foot. He took out his anger on a bus shelter and 11 road signs. He caused damage amounting to several thousand złotys.
The 20-year-old resident of Lubin will now answer for damaging property. He faces up to five years in prison. And there is no doubt that he will cover the costs of all repairs.
