Officers from Rudna and Lubin received information indicating that a resident of Rudna municipality might be growing marijuana. Police searched the 22-year-old’s property. In the attic, they found nearly 500 retail portions of the drug.
Moreover, several dozen metres from the house, in a grove, the officers came across an underground shelter that the suspect had built specifically to grow cannabis. (Six plants were secured).
The 22-year-old suspect was detained. Police are determining whether the man was also involved in drug dealing. The resident of Rudna municipality could now face up to 10 years in prison.
