– Singing carols, we will set out into the streets of our town and take part in a nativity play to celebrate the Epiphany, and to enjoy Christmas and the homage of the Magi from the East together with family, friends and neighbours, say the organisers of Bolesławiec’s Three Kings Procession.
The procession will set out from Bolesławiec parishes:
- Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 1b Zamkowy Square – after the 12:30 p.m. Mass
- The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, 49 Jarzębinowa Street – after the 12:00 p.m. Mass
- The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, 3 Orzeszkowej Street – after the 12:00 p.m. Mass
- Saints Cyril and Methodius, 1 Krótka Street – after the 12:00 p.m. Mass
- Our Lady of the Rosary, 1b Ceramiczna Street – after the 11:30 a.m. Mass (joining the procession from the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus church).
Update
Festive processions will also take place in Nowogrodziec and Osiecznica Municipality. The procession in Nowogrodziec will set out from the Church of Saints Peter and Paul in Nowogrodziec after Holy Mass, which will begin at 11:00 a.m..
As we read on the website of the Nowogrodziec Municipal Office:
At 12:00 p.m., singing carols together, we will follow the Kings to Nowogrodziec Market Square, where the Three Kings will pay homage to the Christ Child. Along the route, participants will encounter various characters from the nativity-play tradition. This year’s procession motto is “PEACE AND GOODNESS”.
Meanwhile, as Artur Kaproń wrote on parowa.info.pl:
For the second time, I have the honour of inviting you to a solemn family carol-singing event in the Three Kings Procession from Osiecznica to Kliczków.
I understand that similar processions will also take place in other towns at this time. However, what speaks in favour of participating in our procession is the triptych located on the high altar in the church in Kliczków, depicting the Adoration of the Three Kings. The Kliczków church is also dedicated under this invocation.
