Both arrests took place on Tuesday, 3 January, in Legnica. At 8:40 a.m., police officers stopped a Ford driver, a 27-year-old resident of Legnica, for a road check. The man was extremely nervous. After a while, he admitted that he had been driving under the influence of drugs. The officers tested him with a drug tester. The test result confirmed the 27-year-old’s account. The Legnica resident’s driving licence was confiscated, and he was taken to hospital, where blood was drawn for testing. The man could face up to two years in prison.
The second person detained was a 30-year-old Audi driver. It emerged that the man did not have a driving licence. What is more, the court had issued a ban prohibiting him from driving any motor vehicles. This resident of Legnica could face up to three years in prison.
