Officers from the Criminal Department of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra detained a 31-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra County who is suspected of stealing three cars and two motorcycles, as well as attempting to steal a fourth car. All the crimes were committed in December last year. The owners estimated the value of the vehicles at nearly PLN 50,000.
The man confessed to the crimes. He explained that he drove the stolen vehicles and then abandoned them. Moreover, it emerged that the 31-year-old had previously been convicted of burglary. He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
