The Janusz Kusociński Small Memorial was held on 20–21 September in Słupsk. Agnieszka Dalmata of the Inter-School Sports Club Bolesłavia proved unbeatable in the discus throw. The athlete became Polish champion with a throw of 42.52 m. This was Bolesłavia’s sixth championship title in 2008.
This was not the only success for the Bolesławiec club’s athletes in Słupsk. Aneta Bujak achieved 37.70 m in the javelin throw, earning her third place.
Two Bolesłavia athletes at the World Championships
The MKS Bolesłavia athletes’ good run continues. Maciej Parobczak and Marcin Zgodziński achieved excellent results in the national final of the Jean Humbert Cup and qualified for the World Championships, which will take place in June 2009 in Tallinn, Estonia.
