On Thursday, 8 December, the Bolesławiec traffic police conducted the “Stop Pirate” operation, during which officers recorded 46 offences and issued 45 penalty fines. (One of the cases will be decided in court.) Moreover, police officers seized two drivers’ licences and four vehicle registration certificates (because of the technical condition of their vehicles).
“The operation is aimed at eliminating negative behaviour by drivers, in particular: significantly exceeding the speed limit, failing to comply with road markings, and forcing right of way,” say officers from Bolesławiec.
