Officers from the Police Station in Nowogrodziec identified and detained two residents of Nowogrodziec Municipality suspected of robbery and theft. The 19- and 23-year-olds entered a shop intending to commit a crime. One of them attacked the saleswoman and beat her all over her body. Meanwhile, the other stole a cash box from the cash register. The aggressors made off with PLN 700. The shop assistant did not expect the attack because... she knew both men. Fortunately, she did not suffer any serious injuries.
The detainees have already been charged. Interestingly, it is the younger of the two who has a criminal record—he had previously been convicted of similar offenses. The court ordered the thieves to be held in temporary custody for three months. The 19-year-old and his older accomplice now face up to 12 years in prison.
