The incident occurred on Thursday, 8 December, beyond Łaziska (Bolesławiec municipality), right by the turn toward Wartowice. The 52-year-old VW driver, a resident of Warta Bolesławiecka municipality, began overtaking at an intersection where, at the same moment, the 47-year-old Fiat Ducato driver from Lwówek County was turning left. A collision occurred, injuring the Golf passenger and the tow truck driver. Both were taken to hospital. Fortunately, neither suffered anything more serious.
The 52-year-old's driving licence was confiscated.
