A tragic accident occurred on Thursday, December 8, on the Lubin–Osiek road. According to the preliminary findings of officers from the investigative and traffic divisions, after 6:00 a.m., two cars—a Volkswagen and a BMW—were involved in a head-on collision on a straight section of the road. The driver of the former died at the scene. The BMW driver and passenger were taken to hospital.
Investigators are determining the causes of the tragedy. We appeal to drivers to exercise caution and drive carefully.
