Officers from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters and the Kruszyn Police Station identified and detained two men and a woman. The detainees are residents of Zgorzelec County, aged between 23 and 40, who had already been in trouble with the law – all had been convicted of crimes against property.
The entire trio are suspected of committing two burglaries in our county. The group broke into shops and stole alcohol and cigarettes. (The losses were estimated at over PLN 4,000.) As the officers established, the suspects sold their loot abroad.
The police recovered some of the stolen property. The three burglars now face up to 10 years in prison.
