Performance description
Just before Christmas, Bogdan appears in the village. He has just finished serving a sentence for abusing his family. Taking pity on his wife, overwhelmed by the return of her persecutor, and concerned about the peace of the residents, Jasiek offers him shelter. He wants to keep an eye on him, but he will not be able to stop what must come. Bogdan’s return sets off an avalanche of unusual events and long-hidden feelings…
A ballad balancing on the border of unreality about people in whom evil awakens and who become its victims. A dark, emotionally charged story set in a village where everyone has two faces. Old grievances become tangled with new antagonisms: love collides with hatred, forgiveness with crime, fear with euphoria. No one will emerge from this unscathed.
Running time: 110 minutes
