All classes, together with their teachers, learned about children’s rights during lessons. Years 1–3 created a series of drawings and posters about children’s rights as seen through their eyes, which were displayed at the school. Students from Years 4–6 took part in an art and literary competition entitled “Children’s Rights”; their entries were rewarded with books.

Years 4–6 prepared a puppet show and a quiz about children’s rights under the direction of Agnieszka Markowicz. Marta Łagowska prepared a multimedia presentation with the fifth-year classes. The knowledge they gained became the starting point for a debate among the students: Do you know your rights? Songs were performed together by the “Gama” ensemble under the supervision of Elżbieta Zielonka, and two competitions were decided: an art competition organised by Elżbieta Zielonka and a literary competition about children’s rights organised by Polish teacher Małgorzata Sacher.

During the meeting, the school principal, Dorota Basiak, explained to the students the significance of the “National Children’s Rights Day” celebrations. Halina Rudzik spoke about the missionary campaign “Pontifical Missionary Childhood”, in which the school’s students became involved. The money collected was donated to missions supporting children in Africa.
