After 2:00 p.m., a man was spotted on the millennium cross. Firefighters, police officers and paramedics arrived at the scene.
The man climbed to the very top of the structure. He shouted not to set up the jumping cushion because he would not jump. Despite this, firefighters placed the jumping cushion beneath the cross. After several dozen minutes, police officers and firefighters managed to persuade the man to climb down from the structure. An ambulance took him to a psychiatric ward.
It is known that he was not the same man who usually climbs onto the cross and threatens to jump. As we learned, today's man is 40 years old and lives in Bolesławiec.
