As part of this year's Independence Day celebrations in the Polish Military Contingent of KFOR from 10 to 12 November 2016, a charades competition, “Polish paths to independence,” was organized to spread knowledge of Polish history among the contingent's soldiers and civilian employees. In addition, a series of shooting and sports competitions and tournaments was held to improve marksmanship, maintain the soldiers' physical fitness, and promote healthy forms of competition and outdoor recreation in an international environment. The contingent's soldiers were presented with promotion documents confirming their appointment to higher military ranks.
