The project includes the construction of pavements and the installation of 29 lighting columns with LED light sources. The pavements, driveways and reinforced verges are planned to be made of grey and red concrete paving blocks, while the road surface will be made of asphalt concrete.
“The work on Herberta Street continues the road investments in the areas formerly known as the ‘military hill’,” recalls Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman. Last year, work was under way on the construction of Rzemieślnicza Street in the newly developed estate of detached and terraced houses. The construction work was completed in January this year. A bicycle path made of asphalt concrete, covering an area of more than 700 square metres, was also built along Rzemieślnicza Street.
