A 52-year-old resident of Świebodzice (Świdnica County) went missing on September 3. The man became separated from a group of mushroom pickers. His wife notified the Świebodzice police of his disappearance during the night of September 4–5. Witnesses reported that the man had got lost near Lubań. However, it was established that the 52-year-old had been picking mushrooms near Świętoszów. Bolesławiec police officers took charge of the case.
The missing man is being sought by 26 officers with dogs and the Forest Guard. A helicopter is taking part in the search operation.

On Friday at 6:00 p.m., Bolesławiec police officers were informed that the man was already in Świebodzice. The missing man returned home... on foot.
