Police officers from the Criminal Division of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra, together with officers from the Central Police Investigation Bureau and officials of the Customs Chamber in Wrocław, arrested two 28-year-old men suspected of growing cannabis, possessing significant quantities of drugs and possessing equipment used to produce them.

Officers received information that the suspects were growing cannabis in a rented hall in one of the localities in Jelenia Góra County. The information was confirmed, and police secured 300 cannabis plants, from which approximately 10 kg of marijuana (30,000 retail portions) could have been produced. In addition, officers secured a production line, including lamps and fans. The total value of the seized drugs is approximately PLN 600,000.

The men were placed in police custody. Both 28-year-olds may now face up to 10 years in prison.
