– In Bolesławiec County, we recorded 2 accidents and 27 road collisions; 2 people were injured, say Bolesławiec officers. During this time, police also detained 7 drunk drivers and one person driving after consuming alcohol.
A 27-year-old resident of Osiecznica Municipality also fell into the hands of the officers. He had used a registration certificate with a forged technical-inspection certificate.
From October 28 to November 2, there were 534 accidents on Polish roads, in which 49 people died and 654 were injured. Across Poland, police officers detained as many as 1,363 intoxicated drivers.
