Officers from the Police Station in Pieńsk determined that a resident of Stary Węgliniec might possess narcotics. After verifying all the information, they went to the identified address to investigate.
During a search of the property, they found and secured a dried cannabis flower hidden in an outbuilding. As it turned out, it came from the 28-year-old’s cultivation. The man bought the plant seeds, planted them and grew the plants in a clearing behind his house. The seized narcotics could have been used to prepare more than 800 doses of the drug.
The 28-year-old was arrested and has already been charged with illegally growing cannabis and possessing narcotics. He now faces up to three years in prison.
