Once again, unfortunately, I had to take care of something at the ZUS Inspectorate in Bolesławiec. I go there only when I “have to,” as our President says. Dozens of people like me report there every day: elderly, ill, often standing with one foot in the grave... Everyone has some matters to deal with. No one goes there for pleasure.
Only one room receives applicants (aptly, room no. 131). Every applicant has to wait in the corridor for a very long time: an hour, or even two. Many, like me, cannot stand the strain after an hour of waiting and leave. They come back tomorrow, the day after tomorrow... On my third attempt, I had to wait 90 minutes to obtain two minutes’ worth of information.
Does it have to be this way? Could the organization of work concerning the reception of applicants not be improved? Only one lady receives applicants in room 13 (that was the case on the day of my visit), even though the room is large... There are, after all, at least a dozen rooms at ZUS, and presumably even more employees.
It turns out that ZUS is not there for pensioners and disability pensioners; rather, the reverse is true...
I would like the editorial office of “Głos Bolesławca” to bring this note to the attention of the ZUS branch in Kamienna Góra, because in Bolesławiec there is nowhere and no one to complain to, and the female directors certainly do not notice the lack of proper organization of work in their impressive building...
