The incident occurred at around 5:00 p.m. At a bus stop in Włodzice Małe, two boys, aged 13 and 16, found a package containing cartridges used in devices for driving pins into walls. In the yard, they threw a 10-kilogram weight at the projectiles. The 16-year-old was injured by fragments.
“The boy was admitted to hospital with abdominal injuries,” says Stanisław Szczepański, senior assistant in the surgical department in Bolesławiec. The 16-year-old Dawid suffered three wounds. He is now feeling well. According to Szczepański, the injured boy must remain under observation for several days.
“I was at work at the time,” Elżbieta Zawrotniak, the injured boy’s mother, told the IstotneInformacje.pl portal. – “I am in shock.”
The older boy is a resident of Nowa, while the younger one is from Kraszowice.
