We are publicising the matter at the request of our Reader, who asked not to have their details disclosed. “Every day, while walking through the area behind Zygmunta Augusta Street, I have been seeing the state shown in the photographs for more than a week. Branches have been lying against the wall for more than two months, and underneath them there is part of a sofa bed,” writes our service’s Reader.
As the Reader points out, several months ago there were bins for waste separation here. They were there, but... they burned down. And no one put up new ones. “And worst of all—in the place where general-purpose waste containers should stand, a picture of misery and despair is emerging,” the Reader adds.
The Municipal Communal Services Establishment refused to comment on the matter, explaining that president Władysław Bakalarz had gone on a business trip and that no one else could tell us anything about it until Monday.
