Two serious accidents occurred near Bolesławiec. The first took place on road No. 4. The driver of a Ford Mondeo began overtaking. When he noticed a car approaching from the opposite direction, he moved back into his lane to avoid a head-on collision and hit the rear of another vehicle. Two people were taken to hospital as a result of the accident.
Meanwhile, on the road between Różyniec and Gromadka, the driver of a Fiat Tipo left the road and hit a tree. Two people were also injured in this incident.

According to the Bolesławiec police, Saturday’s collision on road No. 4 was caused by the driver of an Audi, who overtook illegally. The Audi driver, wanting to avoid a head-on collision with a vehicle approaching from the opposite direction, moved back into his lane, causing the Volkswagen Golf to brake sharply and collide with the Ford Mondeo. The Audi driver was fined PLN 1,000.
