A fire broke out at a single-family home in Nowa Kuźnia near Bolesławiec after 9:00 a.m. Several fire service units arrived at the scene.
The injured were a mother and her four children. Three of the children suffered burns, with the most seriously injured being a three-month-old infant. Two children were taken to hospitals in Bolesławiec and Legnica. The other two remained at the scene.
Despite the firefighters’ efforts, a large part of the house burned down. The entire roof and ceiling collapsed. The ground floor of the building is unfit for habitation.
