The incident occurred on January 1, 2008, in the afternoon. The 13-year-old boy was standing with his friends on a bridge in Raciborowice Dolne. A Fiat 126p driver passing that way (the car was cream-colored) lost control of the vehicle and pinned the boy against the railing with the rear of the car.
The perpetrator did not stop. On the contrary, he hurriedly left the scene of the accident. To this day, he has not reported to the police. His identity has still not been established.
The injured 13-year-old has a fractured knee and a pelvic injury. For unintentionally causing the accident, the driver of the Fiat 126p currently faces up to three years in prison. However, if it turns out that the perpetrator was drunk at the time, the penalty may be considerably more severe.
