Young people who had learned to play bridge during classes organized by Bolesławiec Bridge Club took part in the championships, under the guidance of coaches Sławomir Zimniak (I LO) and Roland Lippik (II LO). Two primary school students also competed: Rafał Molenda (Primary School No. 1) and Max Brandt (Primary School No. 4).
The individual tournament consists of 11 rounds. In each round, the players are paired with different partners. The final results surprised the winners themselves, who had not expected such success.
The tournament results were as follows:
- Adam Piasecki (I LO)
- Krzysztof Makaro (I LO)
- Marcin Mirecki (II LO)
- Rafał Molenda (Primary School No. 1)
- Michał Drankiewicz (II LO)
- Stefan Łucki (II LO)
- Max Brandt (Primary School No. 4)
- Łukasz Kasprzyk (II LO)
- Robert Mróz (I LO)
- Tied: Maciej Cierniak (I LO) and Adrian Chojnicki (II LO)

The students of I LO, coached by Sławomir Zimniak, achieved success. The youngest participants in the tournament, primary school students, performed very well, taking strong places among the high school students, while the youngest competitor, Rafał Molenda, narrowly missed out on a bronze medal.
All participants were honored with commemorative certificates and material gifts. The prizes for the winners were funded by the president of Bolesławiec Bridge Club.
Bolesławiec Bridge Club invites everyone interested to learn to play sports bridge. Classes are led by Sławomir Zimniak at I LO on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2:30 p.m., and by Roland Lippik at II LO on Fridays from 1:30 p.m.
At the same time, the Board of Bolesławiec Bridge Club would like to thank Beata Sulska, principal of II LO, and Cezary Czernatowicz, principal of I LO, for enabling bridge classes to be held on the schools’ premises.
