The Association for the Development of I LO celebrated the anniversary of its establishment in November, and was registered in April this year. Let us recall that the Association’s aim is to provide the school with comprehensive assistance, including material support.
“This year, however, we will still not be able to obtain public benefit organization status and, consequently, collect 1% of tax directly into our account,” explains Stanisław Małkowski, who serves as the Association’s president. Therefore, those who wish to support it financially will be able, when filing their tax returns, to use—as last year—a special sub-account made available free of charge by the Ziemia Bolesławiecka Association. Thanks to tax allocations, more than PLN 2,750 has been raised so far and used to purchase equipment.
“The televisions and DVD players have already been delivered to the Polish-language classrooms, where they will certainly be used during lessons,” says headmaster Cezary Czernatowicz. “We refer anyone interested in providing further support to the Association to the I LO website, where the account number can be found,” adds Stanisław Małkowski.
