The deadline for submitting applications for awards (individual and group) for promoting Bolesławiec in 2007 is December 15. Applications should be submitted either to the City Hall secretariat (town hall) or to the Customer Service Office (Piłsudskiego Square – office building). Awards may be granted both to people living in Bolesławiec (or representing our city) and to Bolesławiec clubs, teams or organizations that have been recognized—in any field—at the national level or have made a special contribution to promoting the city.
Applications for awards may be submitted by directors and managers of institutions, the authorities of clubs, teams, social and local-government organizations, as well as guardians of candidates for an individual award.
The awards are granted by the mayor, after seeking the opinions of the City Council’s Committee for Economic Development and Finance and the Sports Council. The regulations for granting the awards and the application form are available on the City Hall website.
