An unknown assailant attacked a woman at the Credit Center on Zgorzelecka Street in Bolesławiec. The incident occurred at around 1:00 p.m.
The man reportedly repeatedly threw the woman to the ground and stabbed her in the chest. The assailant fled, while the woman made her way out of the basement room onto the street under her own power and called for help. Three passers-by assisted her. The woman was taken to hospital and is in the surgical ward.
Police are at the scene of the attack. A search for the assailant is underway.
