The “Compose Your Performance with The Black Eyed Peas and Become a Pepsi Star” competition began in early June. Agnieszka Musiał, the everyday vocalist of the Bolesławiec-Dursztyn group Beliv, entered the singing category. The woman from Bolesławiec recorded her own version of the song “More,” which the American band The Black Eyed Peas created especially for the competition.
Ten people from each category advanced to the semifinals. The performers were selected through votes from internet users. Then, from each group of ten, the jury—comprising Kasia NOVIKA Nowicka, Kinga Kiełczyńska, Magdalena Różczka, Jacek Badurek, Dariusz Błaszczyk and Daniel Haaksman—selected two finalists.
The selected performers took part in workshops held in Warsaw. Under the guidance of professionals, the finalists polished their skills. The winners of the competition were chosen on the final day of the classes. Agnieszka Musiał won in the singing category. The prize in this event, which received tremendous media coverage, is a performance on the same stage as The Black Eyed Peas! The woman from Bolesławiec will sing with the Americans today. Together, they will perform the song “More.” The editorial team of Bolesławiec.org is keeping its fingers crossed for Agnieszka’s performance.
