The case will be heard by the District Court in Bolesławiec. Grażyna K. is accused of misappropriating property and falsifying payroll lists. She allegedly passed the falsified lists to the former director of the sanitary inspection, Ryszard P., for signature; he did not check the documents and signed them without verifying them. It is estimated that the resourceful accountant misappropriated approximately PLN 158,000. Ryszard P. will stand trial for failing to properly supervise his employee. Two other sanitary inspection employees are also accused of certifying untruthful information in documents. The main defendant faces up to five years in prison.
