On Monday, police officers from Bolesławiec discovered an illegal cannabis cultivation operation on the premises of a property in the Nowogrodziec municipality. A sniffer dog was used to search the rooms and found approximately 50 cultivated and tended cannabis plants. In the same room, the police officers also found drugs divided into individual portions.
Four young men aged 20–25, residents of the locality, were arrested. One of them was charged with illegal possession of drugs and preparing them for sale.
The cannabis plants could have been used to produce 5,300 portions of marijuana with a market value of approximately PLN 80,000.
