“The Seduction School of Czesław M.” Czesław M. has everything he could wish for—fame, money, access to every party, and women sigh over him, even though he does not look like a model. One day, he decides that he is tired of celebrity life and resolves to leave it behind. By chance, he ends up in Świnoujście, where—also by chance—he meets two shipyard workers, Adam and Zygmunt, who dream of starting their own business. Together, the three of them come up with the idea of opening a school… of seduction for men! Aleksander Dembski’s film is a warm and optimistic story about the search for happiness and one’s own path. It is a comedy about the surprising consequences of life choices, with an original soundtrack. Czesław Mozil stars in the leading role.

“Marie’s Story” is a moving fact-based film portrait of Marie Heurtin, who was deaf and blind from birth and lived in France at the end of the 19th century. The girl is unable to communicate with the world and behaves like a wild animal—she is afraid of the reality around her, which she can neither see nor hear. Doctors consider her disabled, but Marie’s father places her in the Larnay Institute near Poitiers, an educational institution where nuns care for deaf girls. Against the will of the Mother Superior, Marie comes under the care of a young Sister Marguerite, who recognizes her extraordinary potential. She does everything she can to help her and bring her out of the abyss in which she has lived since birth. Despite moments of doubt and mistakes, she eventually succeeds.
