The authors of the video—tellingly titled “»The New Motorway Drivers’ Game«: Using the Emergency Corridor—Scandal!!!”—showing an emergency vehicle (an ambulance from Pogotowie Ratunkowe im. Siegfrieda Greinera w Skawinie) reaching an injured person on Friday, 14 October, wrote:
As soon as we entered the A4 motorway, we were surprised right away. Drivers travelling against the flow of traffic on the motorway pose a real danger—using the emergency corridor prepared in advance for emergency services. Please measure how much time the ambulance lost manoeuvring because of drivers who failed to think.
The video was shared on their Facebook profile by volunteer firefighters from OSP Czerna. The firefighters wrote:
Think!!!! We often see problems with creating an emergency corridor in the first place, which extends our travel time, and after arriving at the scene we hear: “What took you so long?!!!”
We join the appeal from our emergency services. Thinking doesn’t hurt!
