Officers from the Criminal Department of Police Station I in Jelenia Góra detained a 32-year-old man suspected of theft as a result of their investigation. Taking advantage of his mother’s absence, the son robbed her. Among other things, he took her television and built-in oven. The victim estimated her losses at more than PLN 4,000.
The 32-year-old pawned the stolen equipment at one of the pawnshops. Police are determining who the items were passed on to. The detained man could face up to five years in prison.
