The Bolesławiec Swimming Marathon on Independence Day will take place on Friday, 11 November at the “Orka” Water Park (Popiełuszki Square). At 9:00 a.m. swimmers from categories M5, M6, K5 and K6 will compete; at 11:00 a.m., those from categories K1, K2, K3, K4, M1, M2, M3 and M4. The event is held under the honorary patronage of Mayor Piotr Roman and the head of the Lower Silesian District Swimming Association, Zbigniew Dubiel.
Anyone may participate in the competition, regardless of age or place of residence; both amateurs and athletes holding sports licenses are welcome. (Minors may compete only with the written consent of their parents or guardians.) In addition, swimmers should have current medical examinations confirming that they have no contraindications to participating in the competition.
You can register until 8 November, by 3:00 p.m.!, exclusively using registration forms. They can be obtained from the Organizing Office: MOSiR at 2 Spółdzielcza Street in Bolesławiec, or downloaded from www.mosir.boleslawiec.pl.
